Elias Koteas (1961 - ) Actor Born: 1961, Montreal, Canadá Education: American Academy of Dramatic Art, New York, NY; Actors Studio, New York, NY Handsome supporting player of stage and screen. Koteas began his career on stage appearing in productions of Holy Ghosts, The Changing Room, Rainbow Dancing and Terry Neal's Future at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and the Actors Studio in NYC. It was at the latter that he was spotted by producer Fred Roos (THE CONVERSATION, 1974, APOCALYPSE NOW, 1979, THE SECRET GARDEN, 1993), who quickly cast him in the Disney holiday film, ONE MAGIC CHRISTMAS (1985). From there he became a recurring face in films and TV, while still remaining loyal to his theater roots. He has since appeared in Francis Ford Coppola JARDINES DE PIEDRA (1987) and TUCKER UN HOMBRE Y SU SUEÑO (1988), Michael Cimino remake of HORAS DESESPERADAS (1990) and TIERRA DE SANGRE (1988), directed by former acting instructor Peter Masterson. Koteas is probably best known for his portrayal of Casey Jones, one of the few humans in the 1990 blockbuster LAS TORTUGAS NINJA 1 (1990) and in the aptly named third installment LAS TORTUGAS NINJA 3 (1993) (1993).
