Jeff Fahey (1956 - ) Actor Also: Dancer Born: 1956, Olean, NY Ruggedly handsome leading man who has proven adept in a variety of leading and supporting roles on the big and small screens. Following high school graduation, Fahey spent a number of years trekking around the world doing odd jobs to support himself. He returned to his native Buffalo and worked at the Studio Arena Theatre before making the move to New York. Impressed by a ballet performance, he took lessons and, eight months later, was selected to join the Joffery Ballet with whom he danced for three years. After making his feature debut in Lawrence Kasdan SILVERADO (1985) as deputy Tyree, Fahey followed with an Emmy-nominated performance in the live teleplay The Execution of Raymond Graham (1985), as a convicted killer on Death Row. He then appeared as an itinerant rock singer who takes a temporary job at the Bates Motel in PSICOSIS 3 (1986), an arrogant boxer in the Rocky rip-off SPLIT DECISION (1988), and a proud Latino narc in PUNTO DE IMPACTO (1990). Clint Eastwood cast him as screenwriter Pete Verrill in CAZADOR BLANCO, CORAZÓN NEGRO (1990), a fictionalized story revolving around the shooting of John Huston THE AFRICAN QUEEN (1951). Fahey starred as the dim-witted title character in EL HOMBRE DEL JARDIN (1992), wherein he developed super intellect after serving as a guinea pig for a scientist's experiments. Fahey appeared in five films released in 1994, including Lawrence Kasdan flawed epic Western WYATT EARP (1994). In this second collaboration with Kasdan, Fahey played Ike Clanton, one of the principals in the legendary shootout at the O K Corral.
